Full Job Description
Company an FAA/EASA certified Repair Station is looking for an experienced Hydraulic Actuator Mechanic with electrical knowledge for its new expansion and growth of capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Service-Oriented Hydraulic linear actuator mechanic with minimum 5-years background in hydraulic repair shop preferably withBoeing, Airbus and Arkwin actuators. Familiar with Skydrol and Jet Fuel systems for actuators, switches and valves. Corecompetencies include critical thinking, troubleshooting, judgement and decision making as well as excellent communication and time management skills. Handles tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

EXPERIENCE:
Cylinder Mechanic
Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components of linear actuators, switches and valves, usinghand tools, gauges, and testing equipment
Inventory and requisition: order supplies, parts, materials, and equipment as needed
Remove or cut out defective parts or drill holes to gain access to internal defects or damage, using drills and punches
Communicate with other workers to coordinate fitting and alignment of heavy parts, or to facilitate processing of repair parts
Knowledge to troubleshoot and test actuators with LVDT’s
Familiar with Skydrol and Jet Fuel systems
Bench Test Mechanic
Set up, maintain, adjust, and clean actuators’ bench test equipment Warehouse
Receive and prepare parts and equipment for shipping
EDUCATION
High School diploma
Technical School completion courses on the requested field
A&P License is highly preferable, or the ability to obtain this license promptly
Previous FAA Repairman certificate is preferred
LANGUAGES
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
